Anthon Berg announces special Copenhagen events

The iconic Danish chocolate company is marking the introduction of its new branding and visual identity with a host of special activities to be held throughout September at Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup).

The new marketing approach features a fresh slogan, ‘You can never been too generous’, which references the company’s humble origins as a small, single store in Copenhagen. Here, Anthon Berg chocolatiers offered patient customers free marzipan bread while they waited outside in the cold for their turn to order.

Acknowledging the past while looking forward, Anthon Berg will decorate stands in the airport’s ‘The Tax-Free Shop’ and Pier B at Copenhagen Airport in the bright pink colouring of the brand’s new visual universe. Large pink posters with the headline ‘Drinks are on me’ and images of Anthon Berg’s famous liqueur-filled bottles will also be part of the display.

Visitors’ attention will also be drawn by hand-made chocolate stiletto shoes and a Magnum-sized version of Anthon Berg’s brandy-filled chocolate bottles. There will even be an opportunity to win the latter for travellers who participate in the competition draw in ‘The Tax-Free Shop’.

Social media is another aspect of the activity, with images of travellers taken on a large pink sofa in Pier B to be uploaded to the Anthon Berg Facebook pages. The Facebook site will also be the venue for a special Anthon Berg competition – to be highlighted by postcards distributed at the airport.

The event will run throughout the month of September in ‘The Tax-Free Shop’ and Pier B.
