Motta announces major new contract

Motta Internacional has announced that it has been awarded more than 700 square meters of retail space at Bogota Airport...

The announcement comes after OPAIN (operator of Bogota Airport) decided that it was time to enhance the retail environment at the airport and initiated a bidding process entailing various operators. As a result of the forthcoming changes, the airport will feature a walk-through duty-free store of more than 555 square meters after security and immigration, and a second walk-through store of 145 square meters located just before the gates. Collectively, the new spaces will double the retail area in the airport.

Erasmo Orillac (pictured), CEO of Motta Internacional, commented: “We are very excited about this new project, which solidifies our leading position in this airport. These new stores - which will operate under our Attenza brand name - will improve the ambience of the retail area and bring a well-deserved shopping experience to the passengers traveling through this airport."
