The Oscars of the travel-retail industry
The Frontier Awards have a rich heritage stretching back to the very first gathering of the duty-free community in the South of France in 1985 and were instigated to raise the standards of retailing and the quality of products in travel-retail. They have occupied a special place at the heart of the industry for over two decades, and the number - and professionalism - of entries has increased every year.
One of the factors that makes the Awards so special is the unique judging process. Each year we gather together a panel of six top executives from the industry who collectively boast a wealth of experience in the various product categories and geographical regions.
The Frontier Awards will be open for entries soon. More information will be announced on this website in the next few days.
The Awards are free to enter, so make your submission and, who knows, you could be collecting one of our much-desired trophies!
On Wednesday 24th October, over 450 of the industry's finest will gather in Cannes to celebrate the 2012 Frontier Awards. So don't forget to reserve your seat for the glittering awards ceremony.
