Prior to the TFWA World Exhibition in October, the winning products from the previous 12 months are scrutinised by the years judging panels, and the prestigious Buyers Forum gold, silver and bronze Awards are presented at the Frontier Awards evening.

Slinks by Jane Rafter, Slinks, 35-42 (European), £70/€80/US$110
Status: New to travel-retail
Target: The female traveller who loves shoes and the man wanting to buy a special, unique gift.
Concept: “Devilishly clever sandals” featuring one base and a selection of interchangeable uppers. Available in four ‘colourways’, with sizes from 35-42 (European). The
target group, suggests Slinks, is “vast as the small heel makes it suitable for both the younger and more mature woman”.
La Cantina dei Poeti - Il Vino dei Poeti Gold, Distilleria Bottega , 75 cl w/golden bag, €25
Status: New to travel-retail
Target: Men/women aged 24-64
Concept: La Cantina dei Poeti is a well-established wine brand in TR. To the existing sizes of Il Vino dei Poeti Gold (75cl, 150cl, 300cl), Distilleria Bottega has added a new 20cl bottle and a 75cl version with golden bag and clip. Featuring an eye-catching presentation, Il Vino dei Poeti Gold represents “good value and [is] easy to carry by travellers”.
Target: Women who do not want to damage their hair with unhealthy styling gadgets.
Concept: Satin Hair Brush is Braun’s first non-heated product to be equipped with IONTEC technology, which is designed to protect the hair during styling. The product was developed to reduce static and bring healthy shine and smoothness to the hair.
Target: KitKat unconditional fans who want to bring home an exclusive product from their favourite brand to gift and/or share.
Concept: Created specifically for the KitKat brand’s 75th anniversary, this pack uses all the well-known brand codes (red colour, break, special shape) and has been designed ‘à l’ancienne’ with the brand’s original logo. The story of brand is included on the back panel.
Target: Women aged 14-80+ who can identify with ‘affordable luxury’ under the mantra ‘let yourself shine’.
Concept: Part of the Resin Collection range, the Resin Pendant Bead features sparkling Swarovski crystals inlayed in a smooth resin coating. The multi-function 925 silver chain can serve as either a long chain or a double chain, with pendant. In addition, the resin pendant can be put on a leather chain.
