Concept: Calvados Berneroy is a prime example of one of France’s finest and most cherished spirits which has been made from locally grown cider apples in the historic region of Normandy for at least five centuries. Produced according to the exacting standards of the AOC Calvados, Berneroy is single-distilled in an antique copper column, then aged in seasoned French oak casks (which impart less tannin). Berneroy’s richly detailed new packaging captures the product’s unique qualities with a design that is between tradition and modernity. The bespoke bottle playfully recalls the shape of an apple yet remains true to the bottle type that has traditionally been used for calvados. The embossed apple on the shoulder of the bottle, as well as additional apple cues in the logo and on the label, leaves no doubt as to its origins.
