With classic ingredients but with the hallmark simplicity of Jo Malone™, Cologne Intense reinterprets time-honoured ingredients in five distinctively modern fragrances. This year, Dark Amber & Ginger Lily joins Amber & Patchouli, Oud & Bergamot, Rose Water & Vanilla and Iris & White Musk, the four original colognes which launched as Cologne Intense in 2010. Now part of the permanent collection, Dark Amber & Ginger Lily was created in 2008 by the Jo Malone Creative Studio in collaboration with Andrea Lupo as a limited edition. Rich, radiant and redolent of ritual, this fragrance was inspired by the ancient Japanese ceremony of Kohdo - the appreciation of incense and manipulation of moods through the nature of scents.
