Concept: Beauty and grooming expert Remington has developed a new hair-removal technology called the “I-Light” which uses flashes of Intense Pulsed Light that put the hair follicles to sleep. After the skin has been shaved in the normal way, the small hand-held device, which emits an extremely short calibrated pulse of light, is applied to the skin. The light energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle under the skin’s surface which stuns the follicle and suppresses hair’s re-growth leaving the skin soft, smooth and hair-free for up to three months. Each flash refill can be used for two body treatments and the technology is not restricted to women.
