Heinemann and Budapest Airport hail success of voucher scheme

A 'quadrinity' partnership at Budapest Airport is being hailed as a success after boosting sales and surpassing early expectations. The concept of a "quadrinity" which represents a partnership between brand, retailer, airport and airline, was discussed at the ACI Europe conference in Tel Aviv earlier this year. gategroup and Black Swan unite to revolutionise inflight retail

A new alliance between gategroup and Black Swan is looking to revolutionise the inflight shopping experience and create "retail shops in the sky". The "disruptive alliance" will combine gategroup's inflight catering and retail experience with the data-driven, passenger experience software from Black Swan, which provides predictive analytics technology. Wild Tiger Rum looking to increase GTR footprint in the Americas

Premium Indian rum Wild Tiger is looking to make a splash in the American market at this year's Summit of the Americas in Orlando. Earlier this year, Wild Tiger signed with Haleybrooke International to handle its distribution in the region. Founder and chief brand officer Gautom Menon said the rum brand has high hopes for the Americas market, after a strong showing at November's FDFA event in Montreal. gategroup enters Turkish market with SunExpress deal

Inflight retail and catering experts gategroup are making a move into the Turkish market after signing a deal with airline SunExpress. The two companies have reached an exclusive agreement for gategroup to provide catering and provisioning services across the SunExpress domestic and international network. The airline is one of the market leaders in Turkey, with more than seven million passengers every year. The move comes at a time where the Turkish market is becoming increasingly valuable in GTR.
